Day 4: Media Trip: BFI Waterloo

Today we went to the British Film Institution in Waterloo.

We were welcomed to the BFI and began analysing the history of music video before discussing the top tips needed to get full marks on our coursework. We looked at music video from the the 1950s to present day, Adele's Hello.

After this we has a short break then discussed what were the 10 tips to get the best grade possible. It was made adamant that planning is crucial when producing a quality piece of coursework. As we had pretty much done most of the tips we focused on bettering our editing skills as thats where we could gain marks. We also looked at other students work to show what we can be capable of with little resources. We then had a Q&A session with Prano Bailey-Bond who is a director of music vidoes, films and commercials. Here is some footage I took that day:
