Alterations/ Developments Made

Looking back at our original ideas; our final product is completely different to our original timeline.

We removed the lock bridge element to our final video and removed the arguing scene to a phone scene (her love interest is messaged by another girl and she asks him who the individual is). The locations stayed the same but we removed the burning pictures of the couple we origninally wanted to keep. We kept the love interest ambigious (leaving the artists sexuality ambigious too) and included more performance shots. We had to reshoot our opening footage as well as our closing footage. Luckily, with alot of patience and skill we were able to construct a music video that develops the codes and conventions of a RnB music video by breaking the dominant ideologies of voyeurism, over sexualising the artist and making her superior as oppose to inferior to her love interest.
