Digi Pack Alterations

After completing my digi pack; I really didn't like the outcome, it lacked brand continuity, edge and individuality.

The panels did not look like they were apart of the same album even though i spent a long jevity of time trying to compose unique and distinct images.

After drawing up a few more ideas and debating on what to do with it; it hit me!

I decided to create an emblem for Mariko & changing the complete concept of "In the Nude" to "Ascend". I did this because, although the concept seemed authentic, composing that into a digi pack was proving difficult with out making it look tacky. I used the word 'Ascend' in reference to the sun rising just as she herself is a satr on the rise. I planned to use the colour scheme of black and gold as it a nice contrast in reference to day and night. Here is my basic plan:

Though the illustration is simplistic; I was able to visualise my digi pack, the only things that I've changed are: the name of the album to 'Ascend' ; the front cover to the emblem of a sun and 'MG' in the centre; the colour scheme to black and gold; the copyright information on the two panels will be put onto one with the emblem behind it (the text will be in the centre); and the top right image with be Mariko's face doubled to show the contrast between day and night. (the poster will stay the same, the colour scheme will be flipped to black and gold as well).

Hopefully it will come out the way I would like it to!
